Watch Team Discovery in the Tour de Missouri, Race starts in Kansas City
After witnessing an awesome Tour de France (my family and I were glued to the TV), the State of Missouri is putting together an elite race that people in the USA usually can only see on TV. I have seen the Tour of Georgia and people in the cycling community are saying that the Tour of Missouri should be in that class. Awesome! The Tour de Missouri is designed like a mini-Tour de France. The six day staged bike race will bring pageantry with the inclusion of the Tour de France team winners the Discovery Team. With 120 world class cyclist, this will be an event that you’ll remember for a long time. The 600 mile staged bike race will start in Kansas City on September 11 and will continue until September 16th , 2007. The race will go through Kansas City, Clinton, Springfield, Branson, Jefferson City and Saint Louis. If you want to see a truly awesome event, checkout the first Tour de Missouri this September.
